The JL-242 Smart Dimming Photocontrol is designed to automatically control dimmable LED street lighting (0-10V) based on ambient natural lighting levels. Featuring microprocessor circuits with IR-filtered phototransistor technology, this product ensures reliable performance in various lighting conditions.
A heavy-duty surge arrester (MOV) provides protection against inrush current and lightning impulses, while a preset 10-second time-delay prevents excessive operation from spotlights or lightning during nighttime. The relay offers exceptional reliability with a work life exceeding 10,000 cycles, extendable with the optional sandwich cover.
This photocontrol features twist lock terminals meeting ANSI C136.41 requirements and is UL listed under ANSI/UL773 standards for plug-in, locking type photocontrols used with area lighting.
